The Workbench, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, is dedicated to providing a learning environment that will serve as an invaluable resource for students & community members to reach their full potential through the exploration of the building & visual arts.

Programs
Brought to you by the founders of Perrin Woodworking, The Workbench offers a series of workshops, classes, and youth programs led by outstanding, award-winning artist & craftsman, dedicated to sharing their craft in a professional, inspiring, learning environment. With programs that serve thinkers, tinkerers, and creatives at all skill levels, our campus offers a creative, inspiring, and supportive environment for exploring skills in woodworking, boat building, ceramics, metal-smithing, jewelry making, and much more.

The Workbench will facilitate a learning environment that promotes confidence and reinforces personal respect, providing lessons and experiences that help improve a students’ social and emotional strengths. The intent is to rely on a donation based fee structure for the full line-up of adult programs, while offering low to no-cost youth programs for local students.
